Kdyby mu ho n\u011bkdo ukradl jako Antoniu Riccimu ve filmu <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Bicycle Thief<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, It\u00e1lie by mo\u017en\u00e1 nikdy nevid\u011bla legend\u00e1rn\u00edho Fausta Coppiho, kter\u00fd p\u011btkr\u00e1t vyhr\u00e1l Giro, dvakr\u00e1t Tour de France, t\u0159ikr\u00e1t Mil\u00e1n &#8211; San Remo, p\u011btkr\u00e1t Giro di Lombardia, mistrovstv\u00ed sv\u011bta jednou a dr\u017eel \u010dasov\u00fd rekord po dobu 14 let.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kdy\u017e jsme se v Siroko rozhodli vzd\u00e1t hold piemontsk\u00e9mu cyklistovi pojmenov\u00e1n\u00edm na\u0161eho nov\u00e9ho dresu, za\u010dali jsme shroma\u017e\u010fovat informace, abychom vytvo\u0159ili spr\u00e1vn\u00fd design. Pokud zad\u00e1te do Googlu Fausto Coppi, naraz\u00edte na dv\u011b jm\u00e9na: <\/span><b>Bianchi,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> zna\u010dka j\u00edzdn\u00edch kol, se kterou z\u00e1vodil po v\u011bt\u0161inu sv\u00e9 kari\u00e9ry a <\/span><b>Gino Bartali,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dal\u0161\u00ed italsk\u00fd cyklista a Coppiho nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed rival.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proch\u00e1zej\u00edce Coppiho kari\u00e9rou jsme na\u0161li r\u016fzn\u00e9 barvy dresu, kter\u00e9 se pohybovaly od r\u016f\u017eov\u00e9, s kterou vyhr\u00e1l 5 kr\u00e1t na Giro, po celeste barvu Bianchi kol, tak\u00e9 modr\u00e9 barvy dres\u016f t\u00fdmu Bianchi nebo presti\u017en\u00ed zelen\u00e9 barvy italsk\u00e9ho n\u00e1rodn\u00edho t\u00fdmu. V\u0161e zcela z\u0159ejm\u00e9, \u017ee? P\u0159esn\u011b to jsme si mysleli. Ale pot\u0159ebovali jsme se zamyslet, pod\u00edvat se na v\u011bc s odstupem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Pro mnoho lid\u00ed byl Fausto Coppi nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00edm italsk\u00fdm cyklistou v\u0161ech dob.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ale pro polovinu It\u00e1lie ve 40. a 50. letech j\u00edm nebyl. Kdy\u017e ve v\u011bku 40 let zem\u0159el na mal\u00e1rii, p\u0159i\u0161lo se s touto cyklistickou legendou rozlou\u010dit 50 000 lid\u00ed. Jeho smrt rozpoutala v\u00e1\u0161e\u0148 po cel\u00e9 zemi. Jedni ho milovali a druz\u00ed ho pova\u017eovali za zr\u00e1dce. Fausto <\/span><b>Coppi byl zt\u011blesn\u011bn\u00edm v\u00e1\u0161n\u011b pro kola a cyklistiku.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A mluv\u00edme-li o v\u00e1\u0161ni, prvn\u00ed barva, kter\u00e1 mi p\u0159ijde na mysl, je \u010derven\u00e1. Av\u0161ak dres nem\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt \u00fapln\u011b \u010derven\u00fd, byl by stejn\u00fd jako dres hlavn\u00edho t\u00fdmu Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a. Museli jsme p\u0159idat dal\u0161\u00ed barvu, abychom je odli\u0161ili. Cel\u00fdch 24 km a 7,6% p\u0159ev\u00fd\u0161en\u00ed s nadmo\u0159skou v\u00fd\u0161kou 2757 metr\u016f. Pokud je\u0161t\u011b nejste v\u00e1\u0161niv\u00fd cyklista nebo jste o italsk\u00e9m cyklistovi nikdy nesly\u0161eli, zde najdete shrnut\u00ed jeho kari\u00e9ry a \u00fasp\u011bch\u016f:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Svou prvn\u00ed Giro d&#8217;Italia vyhr\u00e1l v roce 1940.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Bylo to poprv\u00e9, co se z\u00e1vodu z\u00fa\u010dastnil a jel po boku sv\u00e9ho obl\u00edben\u00e9ho Gina Bartaliho jako jeho rival. U\u017e nejezdil s Bartaliho t\u00fdmem Legnano, ale s Bianchi. Jejich prvn\u00ed p\u0159\u00edm\u00e9 st\u0159etnut\u00ed se konalo na mistrovstv\u00ed v Curychu (Z\u00fcri Metzgete). Bartali vyhr\u00e1l sprint a p\u0159ekvapil Coppiho. Tito dva Italov\u00e9 byli velmi dychtiv\u00ed sout\u011b\u017eit &#8211; toho roku absolvovali na \u0161t\u011brkov\u00fdch silnic\u00edch a kolech s jedn\u00edm pohonem (jednoduch\u00e1 klika, 4 ozuben\u00e1 kola) z\u00e1vod pr\u016fm\u011brnou rychlost\u00ed 42,228 km \/ h; rekord, jeho\u017e p\u0159ekon\u00e1n\u00ed trvalo v\u00edce ne\u017e p\u016fl stolet\u00ed (2004 Juan Antonio Flecha p\u0159i 42,707 km \/ h).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O dva m\u011bs\u00edce d\u0159\u00edve Coppi a Bartali sout\u011b\u017eili spole\u010dn\u011b v La Classicissima, ale ve skute\u010dnosti se vid\u011bli jen na za\u010d\u00e1tku, proto\u017ee <\/span><b>v\u00fdkon Fausta v z\u00e1vod\u011b z Mil\u00e1na do San Rema v roce 1946 byl skute\u010dnou uk\u00e1zkou jeho vynikaj\u00edc\u00edch schopnost\u00ed.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Hned na za\u010d\u00e1tku se Coppi dostal do veden\u00ed &#8211; ne\u010dekal ani na strm\u00e9m v\u00fd\u0161lapu Poggio. &#8220;Ztratil rozum!&#8221;, pomysleli si v pelotonu, Bartali ho po cel\u00fd z\u00e1vod ani nevid\u011bl. Do c\u00edle zb\u00fdvalo 147 km a na Piemontese se zbavil sv\u00e9ho posledn\u00edho spole\u010dn\u00edka, do c\u00edle dorazil se 14 minutov\u00fdm n\u00e1skokem p\u0159ed druh\u00fdm jezdcem a s 18 minutov\u00fdm nad Bartalim. V tu chv\u00edli se z r\u00e1dia oz\u00fdvalo: \u201ePo\u0159ad\u00ed p\u0159\u00edjezdu: prvn\u00ed Fausto Coppi &#8230; a \u010dek\u00e1me, a\u017e doraz\u00ed ostatn\u00ed, pus\u0165me si n\u011bjakou hudbu k tanci\u201c.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Giro v roce 46 vypadalo slibn\u011b a tak\u00e9 bylo. Coppi byl velk\u00fdm favoritem, ale Bartali vyu\u017eil chv\u00edle slabosti sv\u00e9ho velk\u00e9ho rivala a nechal ho 4 minuty pozadu. Coppi zkr\u00e1til mezeru v Dolomitech, ale 47 sekund p\u0159ineslo v\u00edt\u011bzstv\u00ed Ginovi, \u201eThe Flying Monk\u201c.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">V roce 1947 byl Fausto op\u011bt za Ginem, ale Coppiho \u00fatok na Pordoi rozdrtil tosk\u00e1nsk\u00e9ho jezdce a Coppi se dostal do veden\u00ed . \u201eThe Heron\u201c (l&#8217;Airone) <\/span><b>vyhr\u00e1l sv\u016fj druh\u00fd Giro, stejn\u011b jako italsk\u00fd \u0161ampion\u00e1t a Giro di Lombardia.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>V roce 48 op\u011bt triumfoval v Lombardii a zopakoval v\u00edt\u011bzstv\u00ed v Mil\u00e1n\u011b-San Remu.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Odstoupil z Gira po kontroverzn\u00ed situaci na Pordoi s tifosi (p\u0159\u00edznivci t\u00fdmu) a v\u00edt\u011bzem Fiorenzem Magnim.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rok 1949 byl Coppiho velk\u00fdm rokem.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Po jedn\u00e9 z nejlegend\u00e1rn\u011bj\u0161\u00edch etap v historii rozdrtil svou nemesis na Giru. 254 km mezi Cuneo a Pinerolo, t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 5 000 metr\u016f p\u0159ev\u00fd\u0161en\u00ed s 5 alpsk\u00fdmi ob\u0159\u00edmi v\u00fd\u0161lapy: Madeleine, Vars, Izoard, Montgen\u00e8vre a Sestriere. Coppi unikl ze skupiny p\u0159i prvn\u00edm pr\u016fchodu a s\u00e1m vystoupal 192 km. Skon\u010dil 10., 46 minut za \u0161v\u00fdcarsk\u00fdm jezdcem Hugem Kobletem.
