Ve druh\u00e9m \u010dl\u00e1nku se p\u0159esuneme do 90. let a\u017e po\u010d\u00e1tku nov\u00e9ho mil\u00e9nia, kdy do\u0161lo k nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00edm zm\u011bn\u00e1m v materi\u00e1lech a konstrukci kol. Koncem 80. let, kdy vyhr\u00e1li Greg LeMond a Pedro Delgado, jsme m\u011bli mo\u017enost spat\u0159it dva materi\u00e1ly, kter\u00e9 byly p\u0159edzv\u011bst\u00ed budouc\u00edch trend\u016f: hlin\u00edk a karbon. Ocelov\u00e1 kola v\u0161ak za\u010dala mizet a\u017e p\u0159i p\u00e1t\u00e9 (a posledn\u00ed) Indurainovo Tour, v roce 1995. Jeho kolo bylo tehdy vyrobeno z hlin\u00edku, jako ostatn\u011b kola v\u0161ech n\u00e1sleduj\u00edc\u00edch v\u00edt\u011bz\u016f a\u017e do prvn\u00ed Tour Lance Armstronga. A\u010dkoliv v\u0161ichni v\u00edme, jak to nakonec cel\u00e9 dopadlo, jeho kolo Trek 5200 p\u0159edstavovalo hned dva miln\u00edky: jednalo se o prvn\u00ed kolo ze 100% karbonu, kter\u00e9 vyhr\u00e1lo Tour, a rovn\u011b\u017e se jednalo o prvn\u00ed v\u00fdhru pro japonsk\u00e9ho v\u00fdrobce cyklistick\u00fdch komponent\u016f Shimano. Od t\u00e9 doby Shimano nest\u00e1lo na nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00edm stupni pouze \u0161estkr\u00e1t (4x kv\u016fli Campagnolu a 2x kv\u016fli Sramu). V dne\u0161n\u00ed dob\u011b jde o nejpou\u017e\u00edvan\u011bj\u0161\u00ed zna\u010dku, na jej\u00ed\u017e slu\u017eby spol\u00e9h\u00e1 v\u011bt\u0161ina t\u00fdm\u016f World Tour. Co v\u0161ak p\u0159edvedl Ameri\u010dan Greg LeMond v individu\u00e1ln\u00ed \u010dasovce v posledn\u00ed den Tour 1989 v Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es, kdy polovina zem\u011bkoule s nap\u011bt\u00edm sledovala z\u00e1vod a cel\u00e1 Francie \u010dekala na v\u00edt\u011bzn\u00e9 oslavy francouze Laurenta Fignona, bylo vskutku dechberouc\u00ed. Nejen\u017ee to byl historick\u00fd moment, kdy v\u00edt\u011bz vyhr\u00e1l s naprosto minim\u00e1ln\u00edm n\u00e1skokem, ale rovn\u011b\u017e se jednalo o prvn\u00ed d\u016fkaz d\u016fle\u017eitosti aerodynamiky.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"1989 Tour de France Final Time Trial - LONG VERSION - Greg Lemond - Laurent Fignon\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rWyfb3H7LEg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A\u010dkoliv se toho o kone\u010dn\u00e9m v\u00fdsledku t\u00e9to Tour napsalo a namluvilo hodn\u011b, faktem z\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1, \u017ee Fignon m\u011bl na LeMonda p\u0159ed 24,5 km dlouhou \u010dasovkou n\u00e1skok 50 vte\u0159in. P\u0159esto nakonec o 8 vte\u0159in prohr\u00e1l a musel se d\u00edvat, jak Ameri\u010dan na Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es zdvih\u00e1 ruce ve \u017elut\u00e9m trikotu. Lemond jej porazil o 58 vte\u0159in, tedy o 2,3 sekundy na kilometr, co\u017e znamen\u00e1, \u017ee jel o 2 km\/h rychleji ne\u017e Fignon. Pravdou je, \u017ee LeMond byl v \u010dasovce obecn\u011b lep\u0161\u00ed, ale pro\u010d tedy Fignon nepou\u017e\u00edval stejn\u00e1 (nebo podobn\u00e1) \u0159id\u00edtka jako Ameri\u010dan, pro\u010d nem\u011bl helmu a jin\u00e9 cyklistick\u00e9 br\u00fdle, nam\u00edsto t\u011bch s vysok\u00fdm odporem vzduchu a s vlasy sta\u017een\u00fdmi do cul\u00edku? T\u011b\u017eko by se mohl vymlouvat na to, \u017ee byl zasko\u010den a \u017ee nem\u011bl dostatek \u010dasu hledat a zkou\u0161et jin\u00e9 alternativy. LeMond u\u017e toti\u017e pou\u017e\u00edval triatlonov\u00e1 \u0159id\u00edtka a aero helmu v p\u0159edchoz\u00edch etap\u00e1ch dan\u00e9 Tour. Fignona to tehdy ale moc nezaj\u00edmalo. Tento boom trval a\u017e do roku 2000, kdy UCI stanovila velice p\u0159\u00edsn\u00e1 pravidla pro kola a jejich vybaven\u00ed. N\u00e1zev kola hovo\u0159il za v\u0161e. Jednalo se o hlin\u00edkov\u00e9 kolo s ploch\u00fdmi r\u00e1mov\u00fdmi trubkami (nam\u00edsto b\u011b\u017en\u00fdch kulat\u00fdch), kter\u00e9 bylo navr\u017een\u00e9 tak, aby bylo co nejv\u00edce aerodynamick\u00e9 a poskytovalo jezdci dodate\u010dn\u00e9 \u201cv\u00fdhody\u201d p\u0159i s\u00f3lo j\u00edzd\u011b. To, co bylo tehdy pova\u017eov\u00e1no za velmi specifickou konstrukci, vhodnou pouze do ur\u010dit\u00fdch podm\u00ednek \u010di etap, se nyn\u00ed stalo standardem na kolech v\u0161ech t\u00fdm\u016f Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Zm\u011bna geometrie<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A nakonec n\u011bco, co se m\u016f\u017ee zd\u00e1t podru\u017en\u00e9, p\u0159esto\u017ee je tomu p\u0159esn\u011b naopak: geometrie kola. Konstrukce dvou troj\u00faheln\u00edk\u016f a vidlice m\u016f\u017ee m\u00edt toti\u017e r\u016fzn\u00e9 \u00fahly a rozm\u011bry, kter\u00e9 ovliv\u0148uj\u00ed v\u00fdkon a reakci kola stejn\u011b dob\u0159e jako materi\u00e1l, z nich\u017e je r\u00e1m vyroben, ne-li v\u00edc. Je navr\u017eeno tak, aby tlumilo n\u00e1razy na silnici, bylo stabiln\u00ed a snadno se na n\u011bm jezdilo. V t\u00e9 dob\u011b se oba troj\u00faheln\u00edky r\u00e1mu zmen\u0161ily, a s nimi se zkr\u00e1til i rozvor kol. Do jist\u00e9 m\u00edry se zlep\u0161ily i silnice, materi\u00e1ly, komponenty a technologie v\u00fdroby kol. Zm\u011bna \u00fahl\u016f a rozm\u011br\u016f byla je\u0161t\u011b patrn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed po v\u00e1lce. Jeho kolo bylo kompaktn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e ostatn\u00ed silni\u010dn\u00ed kola, horn\u00ed r\u00e1mov\u00e1 trubka m\u011bla specifick\u00fd sklon, d\u00edky \u010demu\u017e se zmen\u0161il hlavn\u00ed troj\u00faheln\u00edk. I zadn\u00ed troj\u00faheln\u00edk byl men\u0161\u00ed, zmen\u0161ily se sedlov\u00e9 a \u0159et\u011bzov\u00e9 vzp\u011bry, kter\u00e9 se pod horn\u00ed trubkou napojuj\u00ed na sedlovou trubku. To v\u0161e umo\u017enilo sn\u00ed\u017eit hmotnost kola, zlep\u0161it ovladatelnost, ale z\u00e1rove\u0148 tak\u00e9 zv\u00fd\u0161it tuhost r\u00e1mu a jeho lep\u0161\u00ed vyv\u00e1\u017een\u00ed pro lidi men\u0161\u00edho vzr\u016fstu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tento design z roku 1997 byl natolik p\u0159elomov\u00fd, \u017ee v\u00fdrobce Giant m\u00e1 TCR model st\u00e1le ve sv\u00e9 nab\u00eddce.
