V roce 1992 pak vyhr\u00e1l dal\u0161\u00ed sprint, tentokr\u00e1t proti Morenu Argentinovi (kter\u00fd pro n\u011bj nep\u0159edstavoval nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9ho soupe\u0159e). Co v\u0161ak zat\u00edm zak\u00e1z\u00e1no nebylo, jsou dropper sedlovky, se kterou jel tento jezdec t\u00fdmu Bahrain-Victorious, aby sn\u00ed\u017eil sv\u00e9 t\u011b\u017ei\u0161t\u011b. Specialitkou t\u00e9to etapy bylo, \u017ee nekon\u010dila na vysokohorsk\u00e9m bod\u011b, ale v Bagn\u00e8res-de-Luchon. Cel\u00e9mu z\u00e1vodu dominoval t\u00fdm Sky, nicm\u00e9n\u011b Chris Froome ne\u00fato\u010dil p\u0159i stoup\u00e1n\u00ed na Peyresourde.
