The documentary follows the opening of a new climbing route on the west face of the Drus after the historic rockfalls of 2005 and 2011, which destroyed lines like the Bonatti Pillar. The 9-day expedition illustrated the challenges of extreme winter mountaineering, with freezing temperatures and constant risk of rockfall. Sébastien Ratel, technical leader, along with Sébastien Bohin and Didier Jourdain, tackled difficulties up to A3 and 6c, completing an 800-meter route. Each day highlights planning, endurance, and focus required on unstable rock. Jean-Pierre Tauvron captured the bivouac in hammocks and the tension of climbing live rock, providing an immersive view of extreme climbing and team coordination in harsh conditions.
