SIROKO TV ANTI-PIRACY LEGAL NOTICE

1. Our Commitment to Creativity and Copyright

At Siroko TV, we believe that sports, adventure, and audiovisual culture deserve to be told and shared with respect for those who create them. That is why Siroko Solutions, S.L. actively works to ensure that the Platform is a space where the efforts of athletes, directors, production companies, and content creators are protected and recognized.

Audiovisual piracy directly harms those who make a living telling stories: from the film crew shooting an expedition in the Andes to the small-scale producer documenting a local community. When content is distributed without authorization, it not only violates the law: it also discourages the future creation of such content and deprives its authors of the resources to continue working.

For this reason, Siroko TV maintains an active policy of prevention, detection, and removal of content that infringes on copyright or any other intellectual or industrial property rights.

2. Regulatory Framework

The protection of copyright and other intellectual and industrial property rights at Siroko TV is based, among others, on the following regulations:

  • Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, of April 12, approving the Consolidated Text of the Intellectual Property Law.
  • Law 17/2001, of December 7, on Trademarks.
  • Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 19, 2022, on a Single Market for Digital Services (Digital Services Regulation).
  • Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.
  • United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), insofar as it applies to users and content related to the U.S. market.

3. User Commitment

By using Siroko TV, each user agrees, simply but firmly, to:

  • Not upload or share content for which they do not hold the rights or necessary authorizations.
  • Respect the trademarks, logos, trade names, and other distinctive signs of third parties.
  • Accurately identify the authorship of the content they publish and not claim ownership of others’ works.
  • Cooperate with Siroko TV by reporting any content that may infringe on third-party rights, using the channels provided for this purpose.

4. How to report content that infringes rights

If you detect content on Siroko TV that may be infringing on your copyright or that of a third party, you can bring it to our attention through the following channels:
