“An Ocean of Summits” tells the story of Alexandre and Valentin, two brothers who barely knew each other growing up, along with two friends, as they purchase and renovate a steel sailboat and set off on a four-month expedition. They travel from France, through Norway and Iceland, to Greenland with goals to ski in the Lofoten Islands and establish new climbing routes in Greenland. The film captures storms, icebergs, steep cliffs, shared risks and the connection between sea, mountains, and human relationships.
