Despite the cold and warnings that winter cycling is only for the hardcore, hundreds of Calgarians ride to work each winter. From young to old, on old clunkers or high-end bikes, cyclists keep the city’s bike lanes busy all year. Filmed 2014–2016, "Bicicles" follows four winter commuters and explores how winter cycling is becoming mainstream in a car-centered city.
