The film follows Gerrard Gosens in his attempt to become the first totally blind person to swim the 34+ km English Channel from Dover to Cape Gris-Nez. By his side, a team of guide swimmers – Hayden, Phil, Jo, Rosie, Alexis, and Sarah – ensures the expedition is possible. Fewer than 3,000 individuals have completed this historic distance since 1875, and Gerrard, who has also attempted Mount Everest, faces a new extreme challenge. The documentary highlights the coordination, motivation, and perseverance required to overcome the Channel’s obstacles, inspiring others to pursue their own ambitious goals.
