In a world shaped by fast-paced consumption, Choclo Project proves that shopping can also become a powerful way to help others. This documentary follows the brand’s team during two months in Peru, where they work to support abandoned and formerly homeless children through the sale of their products. Inspired by the children, Peru’s rich textile tradition, colorful markets, vibrant culture and diverse landscapes, the Choclo Project team joins forces with a local craftsman to decorate a surfboard that will inspire their new collection. The board also accompanies them on a journey to some of Peru’s best waves and most extraordinary locations. Professional surfer and Choclo Project mentor Georgia Fish joins the adventure, sharing her passion for surfing and her knowledge of nutrition with the children’s mothers. A heartwarming story about how creativity, business and conscious consumerism can be used to improve the lives of those who need it most.
