"AKKA – Back to Paradice" follows Nils as he returns to his homeland to help his grandparents, caretakers of a secluded cabin deep in Swedish Lapland. What begins as a personal return becomes an extraordinary expedition with three skilled ice climbers, venturing into untouched landscapes to explore dazzling frozen waterfalls never climbed before. Officially selected in 2022 by the Cinémathèque d’Images de Montagne and the Transylvania Mountain Festival, the film is both an intimate portrait of belonging and a breathtaking adventure in the Arctic wilderness.
