"Traces" (2018), produced by Nanook, chronicles the journey of four seasoned travelers who traverse the Siberian taiga—over 500 km on foot and in canoes—not just as a physical feat, but to reconnect with a history of deportation and survival that continues to resonate within Lithuanian society today. Winner of Best Spirit of Adventure Film at the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival 2019, the New Media Writing Prize 2019, and 1st Prize at the Lithuanian Press Photography Awards 2018; also nominated for the Prix Europa 2018.
