An interview with Jorge Garbajosa, Spanish power forward, world champion and one of the leading figures of Spain’s golden generation of basketball, in a new episode of The Case By Scola. Garbajosa won league and cup titles in Spain and Italy with clubs such as Baskonia, Benetton Treviso, and Unicaja, leading Unicaja to the historic 2006 ACB League title and winning the FIBA Saporta Cup in 1996. In the NBA, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2007 with the Toronto Raptors, while in Europe he earned honors such as Mr. Europa 2006 and All-EuroLeague selections. With the Spanish national team, he played a key role in winning gold at the 2006 FIBA World Cup, gold at EuroBasket 2009, and silver at the 2008 Olympic Games, along with multiple European medals. After retirement, he continued his legacy as president of the Spanish Basketball Federation and FIBA Europe.
