Episode 3 of Mountain Biking in Aosta Valley follows a 3-day e-MTB journey starting in Nus and climbing to Saint-Barthélemy and Rifugio Magià, where hosts share the refuge’s origins. Day two tackles Col Vessona (≈2,800 m) with some portage before a flowing descent into the Valpelline/Oyace valley, then up to Rifugio Champillon (≈2,300 m)—a balcony with sweeping Mont Blanc views. The finale rolls from Vetan to the art-filled Rifugio Mont Fallère (created by sculptor Siro), then along a spectacular ridge toward Becca France with panoramic singletrack to Aosta. A blend of technical trails, alpine hospitality, and quiet, lesser-known valleys, this episode shows how e-bikes open magical corners of the Aosta Valley while respecting hikers and local culture.
