Four young climbers dream of climbing the mythical Lotus Flower Tower in Canada’s far north. To reach the 800 m wall they must first paddle 550 km down the dangerous Nahanni River in complete autonomy for a month. With little experience in such expeditions, they convince Dom, a veteran adventurer 33 years older, to guide them. While the youngsters chase their dream, Dom fulfills his teenage fantasy of running the Nahanni rapids and faces the fact that Lotus Flower will be his final big wall.
