Marco Olmo stands as a unique figure in the world of extreme long-distance running. A former farmer, truck driver and laborer, he discovered in running not only a release but a purpose that reshaped the course of his life. At 58, he became World Champion by winning the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc, the most demanding endurance race on the planet, requiring more than twenty hours of nonstop running around Europe’s highest mountain. The film follows a full year of preparation for a new edition of the UTMB, a race that had already crowned him twice and which may become the last of his career. Facing physical limitations, younger and stronger competitors, and an unwavering inner drive, Marco confronts the ultimate challenge: proving to himself that he can still succeed. This is his story.
