In the seventh episode of “Yooper Tours,” Alex Maier’s journey along the North Country Trail enters a critical climatic transition. Fall gives way to winter with heavy snowstorms that reshape the terrain and force a reassessment of travel strategy. The episode focuses on changing from hiking boots to snowshoes and the increasing challenge of locating the trail beneath fresh snow. Alex also works to keep his gear dry and water unfrozen while reflecting on how solitude in the wild deepens his understanding of endurance and purpose.
