SPECIFIC LEGAL NOTICE ON THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN IMAGES
Use of Artificial Intelligence systems in the generation or editing of images on www.siroko.com
1. Transparency regarding the images made available
Images of products, campaigns, models or any other visual content available on www.siroko.com may have been generated, edited, retouched or enhanced, in whole or in part, using Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) tools or systems for the purposes of optimisation, stylisation, composition or visual creativity.
SIROKO SOLUTIONS, S.L. publishes this notice to ensure transparency for users, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 June 2024 laying down harmonised rules on artificial intelligence (the “AI Act”), whose transparency obligations apply from 2 August 2026.
2. Widespread use of AI in images
Users are clearly and expressly informed that almost all images on www.siroko.com have been generated, edited, retouched or otherwise processed, in whole or in part, using AI tools or systems. Such processing may affect visual elements including lighting, backgrounds, textures, appearance, proportions or composition, in order to improve the presentation, user experience or aesthetic value of the content (AI-assisted images).
As this is a general and cross-cutting feature of all visual content on the website, images are not labelled individually. This notice serves as general, permanent and readily accessible transparency information covering all images, and users should therefore assume that any image on the website may have been generated or processed using AI.
3. General nature of this notice and cases requiring specific labelling
This information is provided in a clear, distinguishable and accessible manner, no later than the time of the user’s first exposure to the content, through this permanent section, in accordance with the criteria set out in Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.
Without prejudice to the general nature of this notice, where a specific AI intervention is particularly significant and may alter the perception of the actual product or the scene depicted to the point of being misleading, SIROKO may additionally display specific notices, markings, labels or identifiers associated with that image.
SIROKO will adapt its transparency and, where applicable, labelling practices to the codes of practice and sectoral best practices being developed in the European Union regarding the marking of AI-generated or AI-manipulated content, as well as to any national legislation adopted to implement or supplement Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.
4. Accuracy of images and product characteristics
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a specific notice associated with an image or set of images, images are for illustrative purposes only and may not accurately represent the products as they actually appear with regard to colour, texture, proportions or final presentation, as they may have undergone AI-assisted graphic or creative editing.
This disclaimer does not release SIROKO from its duty to provide accurate information concerning the essential characteristics of its products. In the event of a material discrepancy between an image and the product, the information provided in the product description and technical specifications shall prevail. This clause does not limit the rights afforded to users under consumer protection legislation, in particular under Royal Legislative Decree No 1/2007 of 16 November approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the protection of consumers and users and other supplementary laws, nor does it affect the legal framework governing the right of withdrawal, legal guarantees and the conformity of goods.
5. Purpose of this notice
This notice is included to provide users with maximum transparency by informing them of the widespread use of artificial intelligence tools and techniques in the creation or editing of images on the website. The degree of AI involvement may vary from one image to another, ranging from standard retouching or editing to more substantial generation of content.
