Although it is a Japanese concept, anyone can experience ganbaru: persistence and tenacity driving you to do your best, whatever you set your mind to. It can be the most trivial and mundane thing or the burning passion in your heart that pushes you to persevere even when the going gets tough. Ganbaru is the inner strength that makes you overcome your limits and reach new goals. No matter how difficult the road may seem, never give up, always persevere with ganbaru. And if you don’t make it, at least you’ll know that you gave it your best shot and that’s the key: to keep going and learn from the experience.
You don’t have to be a professional cyclist, skier or an ultra-endurance athlete to give it your all. At Siroko we believe that adventurers come in many shapes and forms, but what we all have in common is passion for adventure, sharing stories and connecting with others.
So here it is: the #iamsiroko community, built by you and for you. Passionate people from all over the world, bringing inspiring stories, relationships and experiences. You prove it to us every day with your videos and photos. These are the building blocks we use to put together two monthly videos like the ones you’ll find in this post. They help us forge a closer, stronger bond, sharing your stories and inspiring others with your adventures in remote locations or in your own backyards. If you also wish to become part of our community, just share your experiences using the hashtag #iamsiroko on social media. Share your ganbaru!
